I just thought I’d tackle a few common questions about the site. Hopefully you’ll get your questions answered on this page. If not, feel free to shoot me an email on my contact page.
What is the best way to cook hard-boiled eggs?
Click this link for my my instructions for how to make hard boiled eggs. I went through a bit of trial and error with this myself, but found that this method gives me the best results 99% of the time. I also have a guide for purchasing eggs for deviled eggs.
What kind of camera do you use?
I use a Canon Rebel XS. It’s considered an entry-level DSLR camera. Photography is my hobby. I love it as much as knitting and cooking. 🙂
What photo-editing software do you use?
Paint Shop Pro. I can’t remember what version I’m on now. I started with this back when Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop were pretty much neck-in-neck in popularity. The crowd eventually went with Photoshop, but I stuck with Paint Shop Pro. I like it, but wish I went with Photoshop simply because of the number of tutorials on the internet for it. I’m pretty much on my own with Paint Shop Pro.
I have a favorite deviled egg recipe, old family favorite deviled egg recipe, a friend gave me a really good deviled egg recipe. If I send it your way, will you publish it?
Bring them on! I can’t promise to publish every recipe that is submitted, but I’ll check them out. Please try to send along recipes that are not too similar to what’s already been published. If I do publish your recipe, I will give you some link love back to your website or blog if you have one.
